The Basics
Q: Who is our trash hauler (as of January 2024)?
A: KC Disposal - 10011 Woodend Rd Edwardsville, KS 66111 * Phone #: 816-388-9739 (8 am - 4:30 pm M-Th, Friday 8 am - 4 pm)
Q: Who was our previous trash hauler?
A: Republic Services is no longer our provider as of 12/31/2023.
Q: When is regular trash day and recycling pickup day?
A: Trash and recycling pickup occurs on each Wednesday morning. Please have your approved trash containers out by 6:00 AM.
Q: What is the holiday schedule for pickup?
A: KC Disposal is closed on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas. If one of these holidays is on a weekday and your collection day is on or after the holiday, collection will be one day later that week only. If the holiday falls on a weekend, collection will occur on the normal schedule.
Q: What is the schedule and rules for Yard Waste pickup?
A: Yard Waste is picked up on our regular trash pickup day (Wednesday), every week of the year. You may dispose of ten (10) bags or bundles weekly.
Q: When are Large Item pickup days?
A: These are negotiated by our trash hauler. We will publish the dates once they become available.
